Dakota County Regional Roadway System Visioning Study Open House: Dakota County will be hosting an Open House to inform and answer questions about an update to the Regional Roadway System Visioning Study. Dakota County, along with MnDOT and the cities of Eagan, Inver Grove Heights, Mendota Heights and Sunfish Lake, is updating the long-term vision for the transportation system in northeast Eagan and northwest Inver Grove Heights. Significant development and transportation improvements have occurred since the Regional Roadway System Visioning Study was completed in 2010. This updated study will assess the current and anticipated future conditions including safety, traffic congestion, land use, development, connectivity and cost effectiveness to refine the roadway system vision.
