SUNFISH LAKE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING – NOVEMBER 13, 2012

City Clerk: Cathy Iago
Councilmember JoAnne Wahlstrom arrived at 8:02 a.m. and Councilmember Mike Hovey was absent.
1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Williams opened the meeting at 8:00 a.m.
2. Adopt Official Canvass Results of the City of Sunfish Lake Municipal Election: City Clerk Iago presented the
results of the November 6, 2012 City of Sunfish Lake Municipal Election as follows:

Clerk Iago reported that there were nine (9) write-in votes; two (2) for Ron Paul for President; One (1) for John Harrison for Mayor, one (1) for Ingrid Conant and one for Martha Norton for the Special Council seat, One (1) for Pamela Bennett, one (1) for Liz Lee and one (1) for Mary Kate McFadden for the Regular Council seat and one (1) write-in in the Absentee Ballots that Dakota County either did not record or the oval was filled in but no name was listed. She explained Dakota County staff tallied the absentee ballots and these votes are included in the vote tallies as listed in her report.
Mayor Williams asked if there were any further questions and there was no response.
Councilmember Conant moved to adopt the results as presented by the City Clerk and declare that Molly Park is elected Mayor for a two-year term commencing January 1, 2013; that Steven M. Bulach and Cathy DeCourcy are elected to the City Council for four-year terms commencing on January 1, 2013, and that JoAnne Wahlstrom is elected to the City Council for a two-year unexpired term commencing on January 1, 2013,
seconded by Councilmember Wahlstrom and carried. (4-0)
3. ADJOURN: The Mayor asked if there was any further business and there was no response.
Councilmember MacManus moved for adjournment at 8:10 a.m., seconded by Councilmember Wahlstrom and carried. (4-0)
