Hi Neighbors,
I commend the FAA for the excellent sessions they held for the new RNAV navigation procedures to be introduced at the Airport. True to their word, they are maintaining the current aircraft distributions so that all communities share “the pain.” Sunfish Lake, nor any other community, will get a concentration of aircraft noise more than our current levels.
For those of you who attended one of the two public ZOOM sessions on August 14th and 15th, thank you. For those who were not able to attend, the following links will allow you to view the recorded meetings for both sessions:

It took the efforts of all parties to bring this important matter to a successful conclusion. I thank all the Sunfish Lake residents who participated in bringing about this result.
Warmest regards,
Dan O’Leary
We are a small community proud of our heritage and committed to the preservation of our pristine, rural character. We cherish our privacy, yet know we are part of a thriving Dakota County and the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area. With these partnerships in mind, we strive to preserve that unique spirit which is Sunfish Lake, Minnesota.
